Padbus was unhappy about the use of wheelchair lifts on coaches used on the intensive Oxford MetroShuttle service so, in 2009, decided to see if there was an alternative. The result is this low entry version of the Plaxton Panther coach. This gives level access to the wheelchair area via a simple fold-out ramp and allows 45 high level seats and under-floor luggage lockers at the rear. In 2016 it received white "The X10" branding in place of the red Oxford MetroShuttle branding. In 2020 it was replaced on X10 work by the arrival of M.A.N. Lion's City coach 241 and moved to Winchcombe garage where it received a new style of Grey Green branding for use on service 38 (Cheltenham - Stratford upon Avon).
Scratchbuilt using Corgi OOC front and rear ends, aircon pod and drivers cab with seats and wheels from Mark Hughes.
When built in 2009, this model was entirely fictional. However, in 2018 Plaxton launched a very similar coach in real life.
