Padbus favours high capacity coaches for the Oxford-London service but
has concerns about the luggage capacity of double deckers and how
long it takes passengers to disembark from them. It has, therefore,
worked with the manufacturer to produce this two staircase coach with a
large luggage hold. Although the body styling is clearly derived from
that of London's New Routemaster, the runnning units are more
uncertain. However, it is thought that there may be some Scania bits
involved. This coach entered service in 2016 and was the first coach to carry "The X10" branding from new.
