538: Mercedes-Benz Citaro G

538(OR56 SBO) Mercedes-Benz Citaro G AB53D As part of the conversion of service 12 to articulated buses, Padbus turned to the Mercedes-Benz Citaro with buses 537-9 being delivered in 2006-8. Bus 538 is shown here. It later received red branding when the Park & Ride services were revised and relaunched. By 2018 it had been replaced by a double decker and withdrawn. It is shown here with branding removed prior to being sold. Repainted CMNL diecast.
