When coaches were deregulated in the early 1980s Padbus purchased this
high specification coach complete with toilet, coffee machine and video
monitors for continental shuttle work under the Cotswold Continental
name. However, this proved to be a short-lived market and the
coach ended up being used as a back-up on the Oxford-London service. It
was withdrawn in 2000 and is now in the care of the Exeter Chapter of
the Padbus Preservation Partnership.
